Warranty claims can take time, and given the evolving COVID-19 crisis, some manufacturers and distributors are operating under restriction conditions and severe stock shortages. We, and they appreciate your patience and understanding during this un-precedented time.

Q. What is a warranty claim? 

A. A warranty claim is when a product develops a defect/error that was not present at the time of purchasing the item a claim is then raised with the manfuacturer/supplier for remedy. All claims must fall within the manfuactuers warranty guidelines and time frames. It is not a warrantable issue if a product does not perform as you expect or anticipate, this is not a manufacturing defect or fault of the product.

To make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty, please ensure you have your original receipt (or copy) if you item was purchased instore or a copy of your online order with order number. The claim must be made within the manufacturer’s warranty period and is subject to the inspection and/or testing of the item by the manufacturer in most cases. 

It is strongly recommended you register your product (where applicable) with the manufacturer after purchase, certain Manufacturers and/or Australian Distributors now require all warranty claims to be processed directly through them and NOT through the retailer. For details on these Manufacturers or Australian Distributors, please see below.

The Warranty is limited to manufacturing and materials defects. Not including damage caused by misuse or abuse, wear and tear, condensation, extreme weather, accidents, incorrect set up, damage caused by mould, insects, animals, airport or other transport damage or children. This also includes broken poles and damage caused by a jammed, snagged zipper or excessive force applied to zipper causing failure. 

Postage Costs - original postage costs paid at the time of purchasing the item are not refundable for warranty claims where a refund is processed. Only the purchase price is refundable.

It is also important to note that poles (tent, swag, awning) are not covered under warranty for some suppliers. This includes damage to the product as a result of a broken pole, as this is not a manufacturing defect of the actual item.

Darche recommends registering your product as soon as possible after purchase. ALL Warranty Claims are processed by Darche. Please lodge any warranty claims directly with Darche as per their terms and conditions using the link above.

Darche warranty is limited to manufacturing and materials defects. Not including damage caused by misuse or abuse, wear and tear, condensation, extreme weather, accidents, incorrect set up, damage caused by mould, insects, animals or children. This also excludes broken poles and damage caused by a jammed, snagged zipper or excessive force applied to zipper causing failure. For the Air-Volution swags and tents, this also excludes accidental puncture or piercing of air-poles. Original postage costs incurred at the time of purchasing are not refunded.

Warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase and 7 years if you register your product online through the warranty card that comes in the packaging. The warranty is valid worldwide and legal warranty rights also apply. It covers defects in materials and workmanship. For the proper functioning of rechargeable batteries, a different warranty period of 2 years is applied. 

* Excluded from these warranty periods are the K-Series products which come with a 2 year warranty period. The Lite Wallet Products will come with No Warranty.

The warranty does not apply to defects in batteries, holsters, pouches, remote switches, colour filters, imprints or surface coatings.

If you cannot find your proof of purchase DO NOT WORRY. Just send the product in and we (Zen Imports) will contact you if there are any problems.

You don’t need proof of ownership or a warranty card, and there’s no time limit. Leupold Electronics Limited Two-Year Warranty

Leupold electronic products which include rangefinders, thermal products, and other electronic devices are warrantied against defects in materials and workmanship for two-years from the date of purchase. If the product is found to be defective, Leupold & Stevens Inc. will repair or replace it free of charge, within that two-year period. Proof of purchase may be required to verify warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

These warranties do not apply if the product has been modified, misused or has been damaged by accident, abuse, or misapplication. To ensure this doesn’t happen to you, contact Leupold Product Service before having any work or repairs done to your Leupold optics.

Standard Warranty

For its original owner, most Vanguard products are warranted to be free of defects in materials and craftsmanship with only the limitations or exclusions described in each product’s respective warranty card. Please check the product packaging for warranty information, as it varies by product. The period of validity of the Standard Limited Warranty is defined by the law in force in the country, state or region where the product is sold. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase to repair your product under warranty.

Garrett detectors purchased from an authorised Garrett Australia Dealer are covered by Garrett’s 2-Year Repair or Replacement Warranty*

Warranty

All merchandise is covered by the manufacturer's warranty for defects in manufature or materials, unless otherwise specified - for example in the case of ex-demonstration or clearance stock. The length of warranty varies from product to product. Standard Warranty is 12-months "Back to Base". Applicable warranty can usually be found inside the packaging or box. Garrett Australia makes no additional warranties either express or implied over and above the manufacturer’s warranty.

Products that have been subject to mis-use, neglect, accidental damage or modification after receipt will not be accepted as a warranty return due to the manufacturer’s warranty being made void.

Garrett Australia does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused either directly, indirectly, incidentally or consequentially by products sold by the company.

Products must be returned to Garrett Australia for testing under their warranty terms and conditions prior to a Warranty Claim being approved, original purchase reciept must also be presented.
